BeeLine Home

I've fallen in love with this turquoise lamp. Of course, I don't really NEED a new lamp. But I'm thinking I might need to find a spot for this one.

It's from BeeLine Home, the signature collection of renowned decorator Bunny Williams. Almost everything in this room is BeeLine Home. I'm also loving the cobalt blue "Chicken Feather" Lamp!

These pieces caught my eye, too.

Scarlet Lamp

This is just a sample of Bunny's collection, but you can view the complete line by clicking here. I'm happy to order a piece if there's something you love. The turquoise lamp is first on my list!

More EMYO Arrivals

"Mother - Carmel"
48" x 48"

"Big Daisy on Blue"
24" x 48"

"Big Daisy on Blue II"
24" x 48"

"Big Daisy on Blue III"
24" x 48"

The street scene from Carmel is a great statement and it's hard to tell in the photograph, but the color (especially the peach tone) is amazing. The series of Daisy canvases would be stunning hung together, or would also work as smaller, individual pieces. Contact me if you're interested in one...they go fast!

More Adventures at Scott Antique Market

Life has been a little crazy at the Arthur house lately. So since I needed to buy for my booth, I rounded up my cousin Laura for a quick girls' trip back to Atlanta to visit one of my very favorite places, Scott Antique Market

Our first stop was an art show benefitting Trinity School, which just so happened to held while we were in town. Holly has raved about this event on Things That Inspire, and one of my favorite artist friends Melissa Payne Baker was showing her work at the show. So of course we had to stop by.

Spotlight on Art

First of all, this is the CUTEST school I have ever seen. Look at this place! Can we please move to Atlanta just so my boys can go here? They had me at the big iron entrance gates, which are decorated with iron silhouettes of children.

And, the show was just as amazing. The whole gym was filled with work from more than 350 of the best artists from all over the country, and prices ranging from $5 to $5,000.

I spy paintings from Melissa Payne Baker! Melissa, next time I'm in town, we're definitely grabbing that glass of wine.

After picking up a painting for Laura's daughter's room and a little Mother's Day present for my Mom, we headed south to Scott's. The market is held in Atlanta's Expo Center every month in two giant buildings - more than 350,000 square feet of hunting grounds. We arrived when most dealers were unpacking their cars inside the building.

A quick tour of some of the best booths...

And here are a few things coming home with me! My first find was this pretty antique mirror from Paris.

I also bought one of these industrial bins with an upholstered seat, which I plan to put at the foot of Leighton's bed. The cushion pops right off so we can store stuff inside.

Laura fell in love with this antique Louis Philippe chest. It's hard to find them with a wood top instead of marble.

I also visited the warehouse of Illuminati Antiques. I've bought a lot from Carey and Erik over the years, but this was my first trip to their warehouse. Here are some French side tables coming soon to Antique Row!

Before catching our flight, we visited Huff Harrington, the art gallery where I first saw Melissa Payne Baker's work. It's housed inside a cute little cottage in Buckhead, and owners Meg and Ann have an excellent eye.

And here I am with a souvenir for myself - a watercolor by French artist Georges Nasri! Meg and Ann discovered Georges' work at a market in Provence. He paints different subjects, but the women are my favorite. Fashion inspires Georges because his cousin is none other than  designer Elie Saab! I brought home one this trip, but I think I'll start a collection. Wouldn't a series of these be gorgeous framed together?

My container arrives in a couple of weeks, and I'm hoping to have everything in store by March. Please stop by!

Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles

Do you ever read Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles It's quickly becoming one of my favorite reads. Probably because it bears some resemblance to the much-missed Southern Accents - the pages are still filled with classic, beautiful interiors. If you've never seen a copy, here are some pretty photos inside the latest issue.

And speaking of Atlanta, I'm packing my bags as we speak for Scott's Antique Market. I'll post pictures this weekend!
